Here's why Sushma Swaraj should never issue an Indian #VisaforSpiderman

If you have missed the news, the trailer for the new Spiderman movie is out. The movie is named Spiderman: Homecoming. And some over-zealous twitter 'fun activists', want Spiderman in India.

What the hell? Just because External Affairs Minister Sushma Swaraj has been showing her magnanimity on Twitter by solving genuine problems of the masses, it doesn’t mean that people will put forward any ridiculous demand they have. India has the place for all but not for people who climb buildings, weave webs. Dear people, how can you even ask for a visa for Spiderman?

If you have missed the news, the trailer for the new Spiderman movie is out. The movie is named Spiderman: Homecoming. And some over-zealous Twitter ‘fun activists’ want Spiderman in India.

Since EAM Sushma Swaraj is known for helping people in distress on the micro-blogging website, people are demanding from her that the human spider should get a visa for India. Some people even went to the extent of demanding an Indian citizenship for Spiderman.

Dear people, your love for Spiderman is understandable, but Sushma Swaraj shouldn’t issue a visa to Spiderman. Here is why–

  1. Unlike in the US, there are not many skyscrapers in India. Though residential complexes in Noida have high-rise buildings, it won’t look good on him as he is a vigilante, not a watchman guarding sleeping people.
  2. Indian authorities don’t issue a license to climb on buildings. You can get a license to drive, even to fly, but not for climbing buildings. And if he is given a visa and he gets adventurous, our traffic department is not equipped to issue him a ticket.
  3. The economic climate in the country is not suitable for him to visit India these days. Nobody wants the superhero to stand in queues.
  4. Watch the video below. We already have a Spiderman who doesn’t climb on buildings. We don’t want another one.
