When a Disney princess can rap too. This Beauty and the Beast rap parody is GOLD!

Prior to the worldwide release of the much-awaited Disney movie Beauty and the Beast, a rap parody titled 'Belle and Boujee' is taking over the internet.

Even before the upcoming worldwide release of the much-awaited Disney movie Beauty and the Beast, a rap parody is already going viral on the internet. Starring Natasha Ward, this Nerdist video titled ‘Belle and Boujee’ is a spin on the song Bad and Boujee by American hip-hop group Migos.

Beauty and the Beast might have great actors like Emma Watson, Ewan McGregor, Ian McKellen, and Emma Thompson, and it may have Alan Menken’s magical music but it just isn’t as dope as Belle and Boujee. Donning a YRP neckpiece, this street version of Belle can really spit some rhymes. She sings, “Rain drop, drop top/Chillin’ with a clock and a tea pot (pot)/Duckin’ on Gaston cuz’ he not hot (hot) switchin’ with pops cuz’ he got got (got).” The fact that this Belle also dishes on Gaston, the man who pursues Belle for marriage in the original tale, raises her swag level to over 9000!

The lines, “My life is Belle and Boujee/Silverware actin’ like groupies/My beast is so savage n ruthless/I’m young and I’m rich and a Princess,” pretty much sum up the whole story and do it quite accurately too.

The original song by Migos ‘Bad and Boujee’ was created in collaboration with Lil Uzi Vert and was one of the biggest hits last year. It was at a top-charting song and was held its number one position on the US Billboard Hot 100 list.

To be honest, I always thought that Belle was kinda high for hanging out with cutlery. Honestly! What kinda grass does one have to be smoking to make friends with a plate and a teapot! And the fact that street Belle is not afraid to acknowledge this weirdness wins it for us. No offense Emma Watson but we think this Belle is a hella lot more cool than you.
