Not one week goes by nowadays without a remake or cover version of an older Bollywood song from the 90s or sometimes way more back in time. From Tamma Tamma to Humma Humma, it’s all been re-made, sometimes with a rap stanza and at other times with some dance beats added. To add to this club, Sanam Puri is here with a cover rendition of another hit song from the 90s.

Sanam Puri, who hit the charts earlier this year with his acoustic version of yesteryear superhit ‘Lag Jaa Gale’, very soon became famous equal parts for his looks as well as his voice.  He and his band are now back with their cover rendition of ‘Ae Kaash Ke Hum’ from Shahrukh Khan’s ‘Kabhi Haan Kabhi Naa’ released way back in 1994. Sanam Puri along with Samar Puri, Venkat Subramaniam and Keshav Dhanraj have together re-created this song that all us 90s kids grew up singing in antaksharis and when teasing our friends about their crushes.

Having added their own touch to the music, the band has not changed the basic structure of the song aside of their guitar strings. So go ahead and listen to this latest re-make of a yesteryear super hit which already has over 8 lakh views.
