Watch: Move over freestyle and hip-hop, here's presenting bhangra to Ed Sheeran's 'Shape of You'

Bhangra clearly has universal appeal, plus these boys are dancing for a very noble cause.

Do you remember the boys who shoved snow out of everyone’s way while doing bhangra a few months back? Yes, that says a lot about their talent and the boys are now back with their performance to Ed Sheeran’s ‘Shape of You’. So far as videos of people dancing to this track is concerned, almost everyone’s tried their hands at it by now, and of course the uber-creative bhangra boys would not keep out of it.

The Maritime Bhangra group is the name these boys go by and true to form they make it tough for anybody watching them to keep to their seats. They’ve added beats of their dhol to Ed Sheeran’s track and the dhol would put to rest any doubts anyone had about how the video is all about bhangra and nothing else.

Unlike other dance videos which are purely for fun this one also has a purpose to it. Maritime Bhangra Group is using their talent to raise funds for the Multiple Sclerosis Society of Canada. This video is a part of their efforts to raise awareness regarding the condition and to request people to make donations.

With over 1 lakh views so far, the video has secured its spot in the viral space and a very deserving one at that. Without much ado, after all the freestyle and hip-hop done to this track, check out bhangra to Ed Sheeran’s ‘Shape of You’.
