Vodafone offers unlimited calls, 4G data at Rs 19 to counter Jio effect

Vodafone has introduced a new offer for its prepaid users. The company is offering unlimited local and STD calls along with 4G data plans to its customers as a part of the offer. Check out the details here

Vodafone India on Thursday announced new offers for its prepaid customers introducing unlimited calls and data plans as a part of its integrated voice plus data plans. The telecom giant introduced two new plans– Vodafone Superday and Vodafone Superweek, starting at Rs 19 with a validity of a day and a week respectively.

What is the Vodafone SuperDay plan?
As a part of the company’s SuperDay offer, Vodafone customers will get unlimited local and STD calls on its network along with 100 MB 4G data at a nominal cost of Rs 19 a day.

What is the Vodafone SuperWeek plan?
As a part of Vodafone’s SuperWeek offer, the customers will get unlimited local and STD calls on the company’s network along with 250 MB 4G data at for Rs 49 a week. Apart from this, Vodafone is also offering 100 minutes of free talk-time to other networks at a cost of Rs 89 a week.

The new offers have been launched to counter the impact of the newbie Reliance Jio that had stormed the Indian telecom sector back in September last year. Reliance Jio recently introduced new plans starting at Rs 19 for its prepaid customers. The offer includes a variety of offers that vary between Rs 19, which is valid for a day, to Rs 9,999, which is valid for 420 days.
