Sachin Tendulkar-branded smartphones to hit market soon?

As per some media reports, the device likely to have a fingerprint sensor on its back along with the signature of Master Blaster.

Till date master blaster Sachin Tendulkar was known, praised and worshipped as an icon or better to say, the ‘God’ of cricket. But soon, a gadget named on Sachin’s name will be available in the market. As per the talks doing rounds, information technology specialists Homegrown technology and IoT company Smartron are likely to launch a mobile phone with a brand name on Sachin Tendulkar. The phone will be launched in the month of April and will be considered as his first-ever signature series of a mobile phone brand.

As reported by the news agency IANS (confirmed by few sources), that Sachin was recently spotted shooting for Smartron at a studio in Mumbai. The device for which he was shooting would be Smartron’s next device under the project name “Rimo SRT” in less than a year after it’s earlier consignment t.phone and t.book.

Also, as per the reports, the device likely to have a fingerprint sensor on its back along with the signature of Master Blaster. However, when the company was enquired to get clarification on any such new, the company officials denied giving any confirming statement but stated,”In the coming time, we will bring a range of devices in mobile, laptop, wearable segment”.

Earlier in 2016, Smartron t.phone with a price tag of Rs. 24,999. The phone had a dual-tone colour scheme and is available in different colour variants like classic grey, metallic pink, steel blue and sunrise orange. Enabled with 64GB of inbuilt ROM, it has a display of 5.5-inch which is Super-AMOLED with 401ppi and carries a Qualcomm Snapdragon 810 processor.

The user interface is not yet customised by the company and, running on Marshmallow, the t.phone delivers stock Android experience.
