Fitbit has launched Alta HR, which the company claims is the ‘world’s slimmest fitness wristband’. Fitbit Alta HR is priced at Rs 14,999 and can be pre-ordered on Amazon India from March 15 to March 31. The fitness tracker will be available exclusively on Amazon from April 1 to April 15, following which it will be available on Reliance Digital, Chroma and Helios. Internationally, the fitness tracker is available between $149 (Rs 9,900 approx) and $179 (Rs 11,900 approx).

Alta HR is available in six colour variants– Black, Blue Grey, Fuchsia and Coral, and two special editions– Gun Metal and 22k Rose Gold which is priced at Rs 16,999.

Apart from the regulars, the company has also launched three special band collections for Alta HR. While the luxe leather collection, which is priced at Rs 5,999 is available in three colour variants– Lavender, Brown and Indigo; the luxe metal collection is priced at Rs 9,999 and is available in three colour variants– Stainless Steel and Gold Plated; the classic collection, on the other hand, is available for Rs 2,999.

The new fitness tracker features PurePulse heart rate technology, auto sleep tracking technology and auto exercise recognition technology. Alta HR provides up to 7 days of battery life and can even give you call, text and calendar alerts.

To help you keep a track of your sleeping habits, the company has introduced two new features– Sleep Stages and Sleep Insights. While Sleep Stages will give users detailed information on their sleeping patterns, Sleep Insights will give details on your sleep stats based on age and gender.

Both these features will be available globally in the spring this year. While Sleep Stage will work with Alta HR, Blaze and Charge 2, Sleep Insights will be available on all devices that feature Fitbit’s sleep tracking technology.
