Watch: Sonam Kapoor Presented The Trailer Of India’s First Silent LGBTQ Film. It Will Give You Goosebumps.

Sonam Kapoor took to Twitter to launch the trailer for Sisak, India's first silent LGBTQ film and it is receiving rave reviews from all over.

Sonam Kapoor presented the trailer of Sisak, India’s first silent LGBTQ film. The movie showcases and discuss homosexuality – a topic often ostracized by Indian cinema.
The trailer clearly shows how beautifully emotions can be expressed sans words.

The director, Faraz Arif Ansari, could not find producers due to the ‘taboo’ subject of the movie. He funded the entire movie online through crowdfunding sites and the movie is finally set to release.

India’s first LGBTQ silent film is clearly ready to take audiences by storm. In the format of a short feature film, Sisak, is about two men who meet each other, over a period of numerous nights, in a Mumbai local train. The film has been receiving a lot of laurels and by the looks of the trailer, the film is going to be something to reckon with.
The trailer on YouTube has received nothing but positive comments and love from audiences all over.
Sonam tweeted that she’s “Immensely proud and excited” about the project.
Well, after watching the trailer, we’re equally excited!

Sonam tweeted about her association with the project a few days ago:

Sonam took to Twitter to launch the Trailer:

We’re really happy to see such a progressive move by a mainstream Bollywood actress and wish the team of Sisak all the very best! Sisak is definitely going to touch millions of hearts and be the voice for many people who left their emotions unspoken.
