Travel company rightfully trashed for asking female patrons for 'booty snaps' in return for free trips

Travel company Surf Europe slammed for using racy tactics to gain popularity!

Travel company, Surf Europe  has been slammed for asking for explicit snaps from their female customers to win a free holiday. Ever since the company posted the advert on Facebook, it is facing a major trashing by customers who regard the move as sexist and called the owners of the company ‘disgusting’.

Surf Europe posted the video on their Facebook page and captioned it as “Good story, your favourite Russian surf camp in Sri Lanka, is running a comp to win a free trip there, by uploading your backside. Good luck.”

The contest completely backfired on the team as the users and fans of the company are completely disgusted and loathed the racy move. Many criticised and even protested against the company. Terming the content to be explicit and inappropriate, users have also asked for the removal of the video and snaps of ladies.

This comes as a reality-check in the world of booty craze and what not. Of course, the company is at fault and the whole idea of the contest along with the video is extremely sexist and disturbing but we must realise that the gen-Y too does promote such disturbing shallow trends.

Let’s not try and imitate the tantalising booty pose by famous celebrities and not make it a trend. After all, it’s a two-way street, right?
