Australia is truly the mother of all creepy places in the world. One day you encounter a man’s vain display of his pet snake around his neck, the next is you are travelling with a monster snake in a Sydney train. So now it officially cannot get creepier than that. Or maybe it can? When the owner of Bokwa CQ gym in Queensland, Australia, Chantal Vaughan entered her gym on April 18 and found a huge hole in her ceiling.

Vaughan didn’t investigate, thinking it was a just a possum at work – a regular problem down under – and went ahead with her busy life. It was only two days later that she got a text from the gym’s cleaner that there was a gigantic snake in the gym. As it turns out, the snake was in stealth mode for almost 2 days and the hole too was the result of the snake falling through it.

What came as a surprise for most of us is when Vaughan said she had been working out and taking her classes routinely but was completely unaware of the snake’s presence. Guess the massive reptile was a pro at hide-and-seek.

Chantal contacted the local Facebook group ‘CQ Snake Identification, Relocations and Queries’ and the pictures of the massive snake was posted. Ms Vaughan also added that it took hardly any effort to take out the snake as he was so full after eating the possum.

Well, what a perfect vacay for the snake. Good food and free shelter, who’s not in for that?
