After constable Tej Bahadur Yadav's sacking, BSF's harsh decision faces major Twitter backlash

He got dismissed from his duty for speaking the truth.

BSF constable Tej Bahadur Yadav, of 29 Batallion, who had posted a video complaining about low quality food being served to the soldiers, has been dismissed from service. Last year, Tej Bahadur Yadav made headlines after he posted a video exposing corruption in the BSF, in the hopes that something would be done to rectify it. In return what he got was an inquiry commission to look into his conduct and actions, and to see if he was guilty of breaching the rules and code of conduct.

Tej Bahadur Yadav hasn’t given up yet and has decided to move High Court to appeal against his dismissal. In the video, which he posted early this year, he drew attention of the country to the plight of the soldiers who have to contend with ‘bad food’ that’s served to them. He provided evidence of the same in his video. At no point in the video, did Tej Bahadur blame the Indian government, and clarifies that the government does provide them with everything but the benefits never reach them. In an extremely brave statement, he says that all the things that are supposed to reach them are sold off in the market and at the end of the video, he even asks people to share the video as much as possible.
His video did go viral after that but in a matter of few months, Tej Bahadur got sacked. Twitter expressed its unhappiness with #Justice4TejBahadur :
