Ok Jaanu's Humma to ADHM's Aaj Jaane Ki: 8 songs that shouldn't have been remixed

From A R Rahman's Humma Humma to Farida Khannum's melodious ghazal Aaj Jaane Ki Zidd Naa Karo, Bollywood remixes have cost us our beautiful memories.

Bollywood has recently taken a fancy to remaking and remixing old songs. With every new movie that releases at the box office, you can be sure there would be one old song that would have been martyred on its soundtrack. We are not complaining about all the songs that have been remixed till date, because we have good remix versions of  Zeenat Aman’s  Laila Main Laila featuring Sunny Leone in Raees, Helen’s Ye Mera Dil featuring Kareena Kapoor in Don, Feroz Khan and Sridevi’s Har Kisi Ko Nahi Milta starring Akshay Kumar and Sonakshi Sinha in Boss.

However, many would agree that new music composers, who clearly lack creativity at times, end up ruining a popular old song. And the list is a long one. With iconic songs like Dharmendra’s Pal Pal Dil Ke Pas, Zeenat Aman’s Dum Maaro Dum, AR Rahman’s Humma Humma, and Sanjay and Madhuri’s Tamma Tamma, and the latest one being Oonchi Hai Building.

The reason music composers give for remixing old songs because they love these songs. Guys, we want to tell you , we also love those songs, kindly stay away. Do not rob us of our beautiful memories and those music composers of their original compositions by destroying them.

Here are 8 songs which Bollywood should have not tried to remake but obviously, that did not happen and we have 8 horrible remixes that have scarred us for times to come.

1. New: Dum Maaro Dum from Dum Maaro Dum

2. Pal Pal Dil Ke Pas, Wajah Tum Ho

We know you wish that you could un-hear that song right now. So, listen to this to feel better.

3. Sara Zamana Haseeno Ka Deewana, Kaabil

4.Tamma Tamma, Badrinath Ki Dulhaniya

5.  Dheere Dheere, Yo Yo Honey Singh

6. Humma Humma, OK Jaanu

7. Aaj Jaane Ki Zidd Na Karo,  Ae Dil Hai Mushkil

8. Oonchi hai building, Judwaa 2
