Sushant Singh Rajput trolled for dropping Rajput from his name!

Sushant Singh Rajput recently dropped Rajput from his name to support Sanjay Leela Bhansali. Little did he know that he'd end up getting trolled!

Life as we know it is unpredictable, but one thing is fairly certain – If you are on Twitter and have an opinion, you will be trolled.

Recently, actor Sushant Singh Rajput removed his surname on Twitter to show his support towards filmmaker Sanjay Leela Bhansali, who was assaulted by activists of Karni Sena, an organisation of the Rajput community, on the sets of his movie Padmavati in Rajasthan.
The actor said he decided to drop his surname ‘for a day’ to let people know that he does not represent people from a community that employs violence as a means to show disapproval.

Bhansali was assaulted up by members of Karni Sena on Friday. They stopped the shooting of his film “Padmavati” at Jaigarh fort by vandalizing the set and causing havoc, alleging distortion of facts about their queen in the movie. Sushant dropped his surname after this incident to show that the unfortunate action is not what everyone with that surname endorses or agrees with.

He tweeted:

He followed up by saying:

And soon enough, the trolls started flowing in:

Sushant took it upon himself to reply to some of these trolls:

Trolls gonna troll but what are your thoughts on his decision?
