Anurag Kashyap to play 'troll-troll', says if 'bhakts' troll him, he'll troll the 'boss'

Anurag Kashyap who is well-known to be extremely vocal against PM Modi today got savagely trolled after he said he would troll the "boss".

Controversies surrounding Bollywood filmmaker Anurag Kashyap refuses to die down. After Meryl Streep slammed US President-elect Donald Trump in her speech at an award show, Anurag Kashyap took to Twitter to say that people in the film industry don’t have to construct a speech like Meryl—they just need to speak up.

After which, people expected that Kashyap was among the people who would stand to voice their opinions openly on public forums without inhibitions. However, when asked to comment on the recent controversy surrounding Dangal star Zaira Wasim who was trolled mercilessly after meeting Jammu and Kashmir Chief Minister Mehbooba Mufti, reacted in an absurd manner.

A Twitter account called, @bhak_sala urged members from the Bollywood including Amir Khan, Karan Johar and Anurag Kashyap to speak on the issue since they promoted free speech.

To which, Anurag responded saying:

Minutes after Anurag responded to this tweet, Twitterati lashed out at the filmmaker and slammed him for not doing what he preached to do so.

Anurag Kashyap did not back even then. He bounced back saying that if the “bhakts” trolled him, he would troll their “boss”. It id being assumed that he means Prime Minister Narendra Modi by “boss” and his supported by “bhakts.”

And of course, the Twitter war continued…

This is not the first time he has been trolled for making statements on PM Modi. He was savagely trolled by social media users for dragging the Prime Minister into the issue of putting a ban on Ae Dil Hai Mushkil starring Pakistani actor, Fawad Khan post Uri attacks.

Either ways, the “troll army” is no mood to spare Kashyap anytime soon.
