The current season of the Indian premier League (IPL) has been a disappointing one for Virat Kohli and his team Royal Challengers Bangalore. Out of 14 games, they played 13 and could manage to win mere 3 games while 1 match against Sunrisers Hyderabad was washed off due to rain. This was probably the worst season for RCB ever in the IPLs. And now, after finishing his IPL voyage, he will be heading towards the National Cricket Academy in Bangalore to prepare himself for the forthcoming ICC Champions Trophy in June 2017.

Meanwhile, Team India skipper has announced to that he will host a charity ball on June 5 at the HAC Ground in London. The function will be for unprivileged. He took to his twitter account and wrote,”I’m hosting a charity ball for the underprivileged on the 5th of June 17. Please help support my cause.”

According to a report on http://www.fullaccesshospitality.com/ (also shared by Virat Kohli in his tweet), the Virat Kohli Charity Ball is an initiative to bring out a change in the future of the country. It’s also an illustration to inspire the mankind. Kohli’s agenda and motive will be the key topic of discussion that evening.

Kohli will also be accompanied by some co-cricketers at the function who will be discussing their experiences gained throughout their international career. Several members for Team India are also expected in the evening.
