We can sense that you got shocked a bit after seeing Bumrah bowling with a slightly normal action but still lethal, knocking over stumps in the opposite direction.

Bumrah learned the art of bowling yorkers from the very best in the business, Lasith Malinga. The Sri Lankan speedster who himself has a bizarre action helped Bumrah perfecting the art of bowling perfect yorkers which would rattle the stumps before the batsman gets his bat down in time.

Bumrah got the attention of Indian selectors as well as he made his debut on January 23, 2016. He has been bowling well in IPL as well taking 35 wickets in 39 matches. He has become an indispensable part of the Indian limited overs side as well in a matter of a year. He has been one of the reasons that MI are leading the IPL 2017 Standings Table.
