The entire cricket fraternity is very well aware of the fact that how the Kolkata Knight Riders rose up from a poor state right after Gautam Gambhir was appointed as the new skipper in 2011 after Sourav Ganguly. And after such a glorious journey throughout, Gautam is all set to play his hundredth match for KKR as a skipper against the Rising Pune Supergiant in Pune on April 26.

The tournament so far has been a very good one for the Kolkata Knight Riders under the leadership of Gautam Gambhir as the team is standing at the second position in the points table with 10 points in their account.
