ICC Champions Trophy: After India and Pakistan, Sri Lanka have released their new jersey

ICC Champions Trophy: Sri Lanka will take on the mighty Aussies on 26th May at The Oval in London. On 30th May, they will face New Zealand At Edgbaston, Birmingham

It seems in a weeks time we will be in for a treat visually and I say this because already three sub-continental teams have confirmed they will be donning their brand new jersey for the most coveted ICC event of the year the Champions Trophy, which starts on the 1st of June in England and Wales. In this tournament Sri Lanka have tasted success but partially, way back in 2002 they shared the honours with India, so they actually have not won it totally on their own, they would be raring to rectify that in its 8th edition. Sri Lanka are not in the best of form as they lost to Scotland, a non-Test playing nation, that must be dampening for their confidence. screws and loopholes when they will take on the mighty Aussies on 26th May at The Oval in London. On 30th May, they will face New Zealand At Edgbaston, Birmingham. This will be a chance for them to redeem itself.

The Lankan team is placed in Group A, alongside defending champions India, Sri Lanka and South Africa. They will begin their campaign against the Proteas on 3rd June. So, they will have it difficult to make it to the next round as they play formidable oppositions on their way. Keeping the colour scheme same, the designing of the current jersey might seem better than the previous one.
