With the game changing with passing time, we have now got acquainted of hearing batsman hitting six sixes in an over, but how often have you heard of a bowler picking 6 in 6? Never, is the most obvious answer! But the 13-year-old child prodigy Luke Robinson had made the impossible happen. Picking a hat trick is still a rare event, well Mark has picked up two hat tricks, how insane is that!

Well to top that, all his dismissals were clean bowled, well that is as accurate as a hawk. Luke produced his match-winning performance this week for Philadelphia Cricket Club’s Under-13s. Because of his performance, the opposition team was bowled out for just 18 runs while chasing the target of 77 set by Philadelphia Cricket Club.

Interestingly, Luke’s family was all on the crease to witness his remarkable match-winning performance.

While his father Stephen was umpiring at the bowler’s end at the time, the schoolboy’s mother Helen was scoring the match.

Luke’s younger brother Matthew was fielding in the match while his grandfather Glenn was watching from the boundary.

Stephen, who plays for the senior side, admitted that it was a surreal experience.

“It was surreal. I have been playing for 30 years and have taken hat-tricks but never anything like this. Time stood still and I thought, ‘is this really happening?” Sport24 quoted Stephen as saying.

According to reports, the club officials are now finding out that if the record has ever been achieved in its 149-year history. It seems the future of England’s bowling looks good, with such outstanding talent in the making.
