Sreesanth regrets his Twitter rant against BCCI, sites desire to play again as a reason behind his fury

After lashing out at BCCI through series of tweets, S Sreesanth firmly expressed his regrets for those who 'might have been pained by it'

S Sreesanth recently got relieved after the life time ban imposed on him was lifted by the Kerala High Court. Days after this good news, the Indian speedster lashed out at the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) on social media for decided to appeal against Kerala HC’s decision. However, hours later, he expressed his regrets for the remarks he made.

After the court ruling on Monday, Sreesanth said he hoped to get his career back on track and represent India again. He also stated that he has been practising hard at the indoor nets and even practised with some Kerala domestic players. He even wished to make a comeback in the Ranji team.

However, according to several media reports, BCCI official said that the board does not agree with the court’s order and will challenge the same. On Thursday, the BCCI decided to appeal to the Division Bench of Kerala High Court against the lifting the life ban on the 34-year-old cricketer. To this, the Sreesanth expressed his rage against the board on his official Twitter handle and wrote.”C mon @bcci this is worst u can do to anyone that too who is proven innocent not just once but again and again..don’t know why u doing this?”

Hours after he lambasted the Indian cricket board, Sreesanth firmly expressed his regrets and wrote,”@BCCI my eagerness to play representative cricket made me tweet against my Parent body.let me express my regret to any ,whom might have been pained by it.”
