Sachin Tendulkar reveals secret of his energy: Porridge for breakfast

Sachin Tendulkar is playing no more cricket actively but he still follows his routine religiously to stay energetic, fit and upbeat

Sachin Tendulkar has represented India for more than two decades and has been the epitome of batsmanship around the globe. He has stayed at the top of the game in terms of rankings for that long as well. In India, which is a cricket-crazy nation, he is considered to be a demi-god. He is playing no more cricket actively but he still follows his routine religiously to stay energetic, fit and upbeat.

In a recent interview to a website, Sachin Tendulkar revealed that kids may not like the idea of drinking milk but he loves to drink milk. He said, “When I used to play downstairs, my mother used to scream from the top of the building, urging me to have milk. So the habit has been with me till date, I drink milk unlike the teens and youngsters of today, who prefer energy drinks instead.”

He also spoke about the upcoming talent from the IPL, he said,” I have been impressed with Nitish Rana, Jasprit Bumrah, Hardik Pandya and Shreyas Iyer.”

He was also asked about Mahendra Singh Dhoni’s ‘calling it a day’ debate, he said, ” That is his call, and it is best to leave it to him.”

Sachin Tendulkar has the most tons by any batsman in all forms of cricket. He has played the game from the year 1989, when he made his debut. He also won the World Cup for his country in 2011, in front of his home crowd at Wankhade stadium. He has also been part of 200 Tests, which is a monumental feat in itself.

Sachin Tendulkar’s biopic is slated to release on the 26th of this month and is the most-awaited film.
