Indian star Virat Kohli was known for his temperamental nature. However, after becoming the Test captain, he has mellowed down. But when it comes to team performance, he doesn’t compromise. Any missed catch or run-out may lead to the anger of Virat Kohli. This is what happened on Thursday in Visakhapatnam.
Virat Kohli and Cheteshwar Pujara were playing brilliantly. They tackled England’s spinners and pacers well. India were in a very bad situation when they came out to bat. But they brought the team in a stable condition. However there were chances which England missed. If they had converted these chances, India would have lost control of the match. Two of these chances were when Kohli and Pujara were involved in two mix-ups while trying to complete a run. Kohli was livid both the times.

But Kohli almost lost cool when Pujara lost his bat. Kohli gave Cheteshwar Pujara a mouthful on the field.

Virat’s frustration was understandable . But he could have avoided showing his anger with the entire world watching.
What has happened has happened. What’s the point of getting angry at things a person can’t change. Virat Kohli can learn from Master Shifu in movie ‘Kungfu Panda’. If he finds that inner-peace, he might be more patient and his concentration will improve.
On the other hand, Cheteshwar Pujara is a cool and calm companion. All he needs to learn is running between the wickets. Shifu can’t teach that. Coach Anil Kumble might have a plan for that.
