After beating Sri Lanka in a virtual quarter-final of the ICC Champions Trophy 2017,  Pakistan turned out to be the second semi-finalists after they had beaten Sri Lanka by 3 wickets in a nail-biter face-off on June 12. All the cricket fans and the people from cricket fraternity had an eye on the game which took place at the Sophia Gardens, Cardiff, on June 12  as it decided the second contender from Group B entering the next round. However, this high-voltage game gave a reason to Zaheer Khan and Yuvraj Singh a hilarious moment on social media.

During the match between two Asian countries, Pakistan bowled extremely well and bundled out Sri Lankans for just 236 runs. Later, when they came to defend the target, their batting top order terribly failed to perform and they lost few early wickets. But Pakistan skipper Sarfraz Ahmed took the responsibility on his shoulders and along with tailender Mohammad Amir, he took his team to victory. During this course he smashed a magnificent half century.

Meanwhile, people on Twitter were gone crazy that who would win this match as it could have turned any side any moment. Former Indian cricketer Zaheer Khan was also watching the game and was continuously posting his reactions on the social media. When Pakistan needed 62 runs to win from 90 balls and with 3 wickets in hand, Zaheer took to his Twitter account and wrote,”62 needed of 90 with 3 wickets in hand , very interesting to see how it finishes from here … #PAKvSL #CT17″

In response to this tweet, Yuvraj Singh, who is currently playing the Champions Trophy for India, took a funny jibe on his former teammate from Indian team and wrote,”@ImZaheer Oh tu bade tweet kar reha aj kal ki gal ?”

And they way India’s former speedster replied back to his teammate Yuvraj Singh’s tweet was totally hilarious. Zaheer wrote,”I am tweeting like you @YUVSTRONG12 but why are you fielding like me ??? Hahaha”

It would be now interesting to see how Yuvraj Singh, who is currently in England for the ICC Champions Trophy 2017,  replies to Zaheer Khan.
