India vs Pakistan ICC Champions Trophy 2017 final: Twitter was filled with trolls and jokes, especially on Ravindra Jadeja after he got Hardik Pandya run out

It was a day where all went upside down for India as they were outclassed by Pakistan in almost every department of the game of the ICC Champions Trophy 2017 final. Nothing went India’s way as they were beaten by a gigantic margin of 180 runs with 20 overs to spare. At first, it was Fakhar Zaman’s batting performance as he got his maiden century in ODIs and that too against India in the Champions Trophy 2017 final.

Zaman was supported by Azhar Ali, Babar Azam and Mohammad Hafeez who scored 59, 47 and 57 respectively. They did not let Indian players as they looked to counter-attack right through even after losing a wicket. They posted a mammoth 338 on the scoreboard with just 4 wickets down at Kennington Oval, London.

Jasprit Bumrah made a huge mistake as he got Zaman out for a no ball and it turned out to be expensive for the team. When India came to bat, Mohammad Amir destroyed India’s top order. He got the wickets of in-form batsmen Rohit Sharma, Shikhar Dhawan and skipper Virat Kohli. Shadab Khan and Hasan Ali too did the job as they wrapped up India’s batting lineup for a mere 158.

Yuvraj tried to anchor the innings for a while but got out early on leaving India in deep trouble. MS Dhoni too could not take the responsibility as he got out after a loose pull shot. Jadhav too played an irresponsible shot and threw his wicket away. The only standalone guy was Hardik Pandya who demolished Pakistan spinners and gave Indian fans hope that they can get close to the target.

Pandya hit six sixes in total which included three sixes in a row against Shadab. He scored a quickfire 76 off 43 balls. He got run out after a horrible mix-up with Ravindra Jadeja after which he shouted his way off to pavilion in anger. Soon enough the tailenders gave up and got out easily giving Pakistan their biggest win over India.
