Rashid Latif reacts on Pakistan's win over India, says, 'Ye jeet hi bhut bada jawaab hai' [Watch Video]

Former Pakistan cricketer Rashid Latif took a massive U-turn as he tries to spread the message of love post Pakistans' victory in the final over India

Rashid Latif posted yet another video as Pakistan emerge victoriously and clinched their maiden Champions Trophy 2017 final by 180 runs. Latif spoke a different language altogether as he did not rant anyone or tried to insult the Indian team and their players or Virender Sehwag for that matter because of which he has been in the limelight during ICC Champions Trophy 2017. Instead, he tried to douse the flames and wanted to spread the message of love between the both countries, he said, “Koi kisi ka baap nahi hai, koi kisi ka beta nahi hai, yaha sab cricket ko chahne wale log hai, mohabbat karne wale hai cricket se. To isme baap kaha se aa gaya, beta kaha se aa gaya!”

He congratulated Virat Kohli for his recent peformances. He congratulated other Indian players, Rohit Sharma, Yuvraj Singh, Ravindra Jadeja, Kedar Jadhav, Hardik Pandya as well.

There is a war going on on social media between Pakistan and India whereas they are playing against each other on the field.

He also felt that Fakhar Zaman’s innings will be remembered because it was against India in the final as it is watched by billions of people.

He also wants to spread love from Pakistan to India and hoped for a similar response from the neighbour nation. He also hoped for a response from Virender Sehwag whom he ranted few weeks ago and Rishi Kapoor as well. He shared that he has watched and loved Rishi Kapoor’s debut movie, Bobby.

He blamed media as well who spreads a wrong message instead of uniting the two countries. He hopes for a bilateral series between India and Pakistan more often.

He lauded Pakistan skipper Sarfraz Ahmed as well for the passion with which he played and took the team forward. He congratulated Pakistan coach Mickey Arthur and other coaches Azhar Mahmood and Shahid Aslam as well for their work with the team. He appreciated Grant Flower as well.
