And the new Champions of the ICC Champions Trophy is Pakistan. They started their tournament as an 8th-ranked team and lost their first game to India. Whether be it playing on the cricket field or their captain’s spoken English, this team received a hell lot of humiliation on the social media. But they didn’t take those in their minds. Sarfraz Ahmed and Co. made a massive comeback in the very next game and then they didn’t look back after that. They beat South Africa in their second game and then, defeated Sri Lanka to enter the semi-finals.

They faced England in the semis and also send them back home. Finally, it was India again to play against in the Finals. Despite a lot of pressure, they maintained their cool and stepped into the Oval for the final showdown. And by the nd of the day, they made an exit becoming the new King of Cricket.

Pakistan defeated the defending champions by a huge margin of 180 runs and after receiving that shiny WHITE BLAZER as a memento, they lifted the trophy for the very first time in the history of cricket.
