MS Dhoni rescued from hotel fire in Dwarka!

MS Dhoni was in the capital to lead Jharkhand in the Vijay Hazare Trophy 2016-17, he has already taken to the semis of the championship

Former Indian skipper MS Dhoni survives a scare as he has been rescued from a hotel in Dwarka where he was staying with the Jharkhand team. According to Delhi Fire Services, Dhoni is safe and sound and there have been no casualties reported as all the players were rescued in time. The fire department got a call at 6:30 AM on March 17 from Welcome Hotel located in Dwarka, Sector 10.

The fire department rushed to the spot and rescued the people, they got control of the fire by 7:50 AM. According to the reports, the fire had broken out in store in Dwarka’s Welcome hotel complex.

Dhoni played his previous game, the quarter-final clash in Palam near Dwarka and that is the reason why he was staying in a neighbourhood hotel near Dwarka.

Dhoni has been in Delhi to play for Jharkhand, and he recently won the quarter-final clash for Jharkhand with a six and made headlines. He missed watching the historic Test being played at Ranchi because of his commitment for Jharkhand team. He was closely involved with the Ranchi pitch curator SB Singh as well making sure everything was in order before the first-ever Test played in his hometown.
