Here's why media likes to target Kangana Ranaut even if she's not at fault

Is Kangana Ranaut's outspokenness the reason why media likes to target her every now and then?

Kangana Ranaut is a three-time National Award winner, shoulders the film on her own and is never shy of expressing her opinion. In other words, she can be rightly called the Queen of Bollywood. Recently, along with Saif Ali Khan, she appeared on Koffee With Karan to promote her upcoming film Rangoon. She roasted the host Karan Johar and everyone enjoyed it.

For the past several days, media reports have been doing rounds about her apparent cold war with Rangoon co-star Shahid Kapoor. Besides this, media also reported on Tanu Weds Manu Returns actor losing her cool at comedian Sugandha Mishra while appearing on a reality show. Several websites ran stories like how Kangana threatened to slap her as the artist was imitating her on the show. Well, it turned out that the story was a hoax.

It was a scripted comic act between the two actors for the show. But I do not understand why is the media so obsessed with making a mountain out of a mole on every act by the actor. Is it because she is not a regular face on glossy magazines, does not own presence in the social media?

Tell me. Kangana along with Shahid Kapoor also appeared on The Kapil Sharma Show and not a single moment it appeared that the duo was involved in a cold war. For the moment, please have a look at the video which showed how sporting Kangana is towards Sugandha’s mimic act.

Why is it easy to target Kangana these days? I have been reading news reports which had mentioned how stardom had got the better of Kangana and blah blah. The reason is simple.

When you defy every single stereotype prevalent in the tinsel town, knives will be pulled out against you. As we learnt from her appearance on KWK, she was written off by Aditya Chopra and even Karan Johar during her struggling days. A decade later, a confident Kangana was royally roasting Johar, whom she labelled as a movie mafia. Yes, the Queen actor says if in future she decides to pen a memoir, she will ensure a chapter on nepotism penned by none other than Karan Johar.

So, whenever you try to hound Kangana at a public forum, she will give you a reply like this.
