Dangal Box Office collection: Aamir Khan film almost at Rs 300 crore. Leave Sultan, PK is the competition now

Aamir Khan starrer Dangal is reaching Rs 300 crore mark. It will be the fourth film after PK, Bajrangi Bhaijaan and Sultan to be entering this club

Dangal has entered its second week now but its dramatic run at the Box Office is still continuing. The Aamir Khan film is now happily set to enter coveted the Rs 300 crore club, matching the likes of Sultan, PK and Bajrangi Bhaijaan at the BO. The film’s domestic collection so far is Rs 284. 69 crore with Monday raking in a good amount of Rs 13.45 crore.

Dangal is an emotional and inspiring story of a father’s struggle to make his daughters wrestlers of international recognition. The film has not just recorded tremendous Box Office figures, but also set new records every single day of its run. If you notice, the film had minted over Rs 20 crore each day in its first week, which in itself is a record. Check out the Box Office breakup of Dangal so far:

  • Saturday: Rs 34. 82 crore

Week 2

  • Friday: Rs 18. 59 crore
  • Saturday: Rs 23. 07 crore

  • Monday: Rs 13. 45 crore

Dangal has collected a whopping amount of Rs 73. 70 crore in its week 2 at the Box Office. The film’s run at the overseas Box Office is phenomenal too. It’s business at overseas till Sunday stands at Rs 141. 60 crore. The film has been taking giant footsteps regularly at the ticket window and is all set to surpass Sultan‘s lifetime Box Office collection in a few days. However, the big Box Office competition of Dangal is not with Sultan but with PK, Aamir’s previous on-screen outing which released in 2014. The film still stands as the highest grossing Hindi film at Rs 340. 6 crore.
