Nude Yoga Girl on Instagram handles yoga and nudity like a pro

If you are expecting this to be less of yoga and more of nudity, you are in for an aesthetically pleasing surprise!

If you’ve been around on Instagram long enough, you must know of their strict, borderline-prudish policy on nudity. Any content that’s even slightly sexual in nature gets taken down before you know it. ‘Nude Yoga Girl’ has managed to survive on Instagram and one look at her account will tell you exactly why.

This account features exactly what it’s name says, a nude girl performing yoga poses to incredible perfection. There is nothing about the photos that is even slightly explicit and the shots are as aesthetically taken as humanely possible. The account boasts of 538k followers and shows the extremely fit and flexible yoga practicioner performing poses in the buff. Her bio defines her as a model, photographer and yoga fan, and each of her poses exude sheer brilliance.

The photos are monochrome and completely SFW, which is very surprising when its a woman performing yoga while she is naked. While you might think nudity is what makes the account garner followers, the lady is incredibly talented and does fairly challenging yoga poses like a pro. If you do not believe us yet, take a look at some of her uber-aesthetic posts yourself.

O= Open and Optimistic._Be open for oportunities, for people, for new perspectives. Being open and curious is really important. Those are ways to learn, understand and see the world more. For me nothing (maybe funny coming from me) is black and white. I’m open to all diversity, also in myself. _ And optimistic… I really hope you would feel that you can do anything. That you believe that you deserve good and your future can be great. There is no sense in thinking about worst case scenarios… Most of people are good, most of travels end well, most of things aren’t dangerous. That doesn’t mean that I encourage to be wide-eyed. But there is hope. There is a so much goodness. If your philosophy of life is open and optimistic you never know what spectacular can happen. And that’s exciting. __

Today we did a photo shoot inside with studio lighting after a long time. The new place brings some nice variation! I can’t wait to use some new locations this year and shoot for example on the beach! _ _Some of you wished in yesterday’s post for colorful pictures… I’ve thought about that too, what do you think?! Anyway I can say for sure that this year you will see new things on my account. Because I can’t wait to try different things. _ __ As a photographer I think it’s still important to keep my own style. And I want to do my way, because that’s what I can do. We all have our own “handwriting”. People can copy the result but not the way of doing. Not the mind behind, not the signature of others. In the end I think that our own style is the best one for us._ __ But our own style takes shape by doing and trying._

One question once a week… Is there something you wish from me for this year?__

Did I have a turning point when it came to my health? __ “When I started to eat clean and unprocessed food, it was a big change in my nutrition. Much bigger than when I stopped to eat meat. I noticed a huge difference in my skin, my energy levels, my mood and metabolism when I reduced white sugar, dairy product, gluten, additives and started to eat more real, organic, local, simply food. Getting into yoga was another thing. Nowadays yoga is more like a lifestyle for me, it has given me so much. _ What’s my number one health tip? __ “Get to know yourself well and love yourself for exactly who you are! Believe in yourself, be gentle to yourself and think you deserve good, because you really do.” __ These are a few answers from my interview with Body and Soul ._

I mostly practice yoga by my own or I take online classes. But last week I went to two different kinds of 90 minute hot yoga classes and I really loved them. _ I really enjoyed the environment and my friends near me. Even if I forgot about others during the class, it was so nice to share the experience and talk afterwards about our feelings. _ There are good sides in both, practicing at home alone or in a studio with others. I’m not able to go to a class every week at the moment but I decided that I will go always when it’s possible! And I decided that one day I will live near a yoga studio. _ _ At the hot yoga class I also got some new ideas for my own practice and I realised better what are my strenghts and what’s good for me to focus on to improve. For example the revolved half moon pose felt so difficult for me. Somehow I’ve managed to avoid it but now I decided to practice it more and I will take a photo of it when I can stay long enough in the pose._ _ I’ve got many questions about teaching yoga but I haven’t taught anyone else apart from my family and friends sometimes… I don’t have a teacher certificate but I really would like to take some courses one day. At least for myself…! _

I was TOTALLY amazed how many comments and how beautiful words you wrote to me in my last photo… Thank you so much! Being honest, you really got me moved by your comments and messages. _ I also got a lot of extra motivation and now my mission is even more clear to me. I want to share my message with as many as possible. __ There is at least three things that I have learned through this account. I knew them theoretically, but now I believe them 100%. _ 1. “Great things never come from comfort zones.” -For first this account was totally out of my comfort zone and I really needed encouragement from my boyfriend to continue. __ 2. “Sometimes people around you won’t understand your journey. They don’t need to, it’s not for them.” -But it’s for me, and maybe for hundreds of thousands of others. __ 3. “It always seems impossible until it’s done.” -If someone would have said one year ago that I would have almost half a million people looking at my photos and reading my thoughts… That would have been a bad joke! __ So if I can, you can. Believe in your dreams. Believe in yourself. Try try try. And really, you can surprise. Hugs, you really make my day with your comments -everyday! _

It’s said that if you control the speed of your breathing, you will control your life.. “The slower you breath the longer and healthier you will live.” Think about a tortoise who breaths 4 times in a minute and lives about 150 years_ Dogs breath fast and they have short lives. _ Before I didn’t care about my breathing that much even if I was interested in other wellness things. I thought breathing happens automatically, I can’t make any big difference on it. It can’t be so important. I was wrong_ _ After I really got into yoga I started read about breathing because it’s one of the most important aspects in yoga. I started to do different breathing practices and became more aware of my breath and how it regulates my state of mind, my emotions, my stress levels and so on.. I noticed how much I can change my energy levels or relaxation just by breathing more fully. _ I’ve added some breathing practices to my yoga routine and I do them also before I start to sleep. I’m not a master at breathing slowly and fully yet but I recommend to read about all the benefits from breathing correctly because knowledge adds motivation. And I think you will be suprised how many things breathing can affect. _ Special Print opportunity on my art account: @nude_yogagirl_art

We don’t meet people by accident. They are meant to cross our path for a reason. __ My biggest crossing was when I met my boyfriend. He is my love, my soulmate. But he also changed the rest of my life in others way too… He has supported me more than anyone,_more than I ever could wish from my partner. __ I can say 100% sure that this account wouldn’t be without him, without that fact that he has helped me to find my confidence, my strength. He believed in me when I’m didn’t. He has been behind the camera in all of this photos and so much more. Today I just want to tell you how grateful I am to have him. I’m also very happy that he is with me in all of this, my priceless background with whom I can share everything._ __ In this world we need each other. We need people. __ When you cross paths with someone who believes and supports you, never let them go. __ PS. Something new in my shop! What to focus on to succeed… _ Focus on the things you can control. _ Prioritize. Do less, focus more. You can’t do everything so choose carefully. Choose according to your target – what is important to you. Focus means that you can say no. _ Close off negative energy. Focus on the good in yourself and others. Don’t focus on what you lose but what you gain. _ Focus on what YOU want. But focus to listen to others, whenever they don’t have an opinion about your choices. _ Make a decision and create a vision. Focus to hold on to the end result. But focus your thoughts and power in making the change and not on the possible result. _ Focus on giving and not competing, then life will be better. Focus on the new, not the old. _ Don’t be distracted from failure or challenges. Take a break and rest when you feel like it, so you can find back your power to focus again. _ Do visualization exercises, see yourself already there. Discover your path, flow, your own thing. Find it by focusing on your breathing and listen to your intuition. _ Focus on the moment, wherever you are. Focus and be present. _ Focus on what you want because you get what you focus on. _ _And continue until you achieved it. _ #NaturelYoGa

My last caption continues: “How has yoga affected my mind and thoughts…” _ A person can affect everything_- I believe it more strongly. _ In addition I’m wondering more often that life is amazing with all it’s nuances. More often I stop to think about all of this. _ I can love myself fully and my body is the first time enough. Not in a selfish way but so that I want be me. I no longer want to be someone else, something more perfect… Something that I could. I don’t think any more so restrictively. _ I know who I want to be. I live so that I’m that. But I am what I am and that’s enough. I know that there is no imperfection. Or perfection._But Instead there is peace about what is: humanity, uniqueness, learning. There is, what you determine yourself. _ Life seems to really be here and now, and I am proud that I can let go more often. I think “whatever” when I have to exceed myself or when I look at my swollen face after a restaurant dinner. But I will take better responsibility about the environment, animals and other people. I’ve learned to know life better in moments, breaths and silence – not just in goals, hopes and dreams. _ It seems that yoga has affected my mind and my thoughts the most by calming and liberating them … It’s easier and more relaxed for me to just be, at least more often. At least after a yoga practice. _ I notice that I’m more as “one” with nature and other people, closer to the point of life. I have found a better connection with myself and I want to help others. It seems that the materialistic things have less and less value. I want to use my life to do something good … The changes that yoga has brought into my life have helped me to be present, to think more broadly, be more aware, and to love more. Sounds maybe very hippie but I’m just at beginning my journey. _ _

I get asked about what is my most difficult pose in this account. It depends on the person for sure. Our background, anatomy, technique and physical health affect our capability. Some poses that are very easy to learn for certain people are hard for others. That’s also one reason why there is no sense to compare yourself to others. We are different with different strengths and weaknesses. _ For me this pose is maybe the hardest in my account. Actually yesterday I succeeded in touching my head with my toes for the first time. It’s not only the balance but the flexibility that is needed in this pose required a lot of work from me and I still have a lot of room for improvement. _ Even I (and I think most of us) want to really learn new poses but that’s not the point of yoga. I want to remind all the beginners and people who have never tried yoga yet, that people who can’t do any advanced poses can be “better” in YOGA than people who can do spectacular handstands. Yoga is also and mostly a mental and spritual practice. _ But I have to say… after I’ve done a physically challenging yoga practice that includes poses like this, it’s easier to empty my mind, just to be present and breath. __

I don’t know if you have seen the news about the photos of Jennifer Anniston on holiday. All the magazines have written that she is pregnant because of her stomach (which was btw absolutely normal). I get very irritated about this. What gives the right for people to comment on other’s looks in this way.. I don’t understand. _ For first, whose stomach has been swollen after a meal? Mine has. _And I’m 26, not 47.. (So there is also a difference.) One time in a bus I was offered a seat because the person thought I was pregnant “you are pregnant, I see”. I was like what?! And pulled my belly inside for the rest of the trip.. It wasn’t very nice to get a comment like that before I was going to a model casting. _ For a lot of women the subject of having children can be very sensitive so I think it’s better to be without supposing things like pregnancy. People maybe don’t mean it in a bad way when they say to someone something like “how skinny, how tall, how short or how big shoulders you have” etc.. But those things can be an insecure area for the person you are speaking to. And it doesn’t help if the person gets the feeling that everyone is just seeing that part of them and it makes them feel even more insecure. (I have experience in this especially with my shoulders.. _). _ So today I want to remind that let’s be careful on how we comment on how others look. We can’t know what is behind all of that. _ I have always wrote here how self-acceptance and loving yourself starts from our mind – you are already good enough and beautiful. But sometimes the right word in the right time can mean the world. I want to challenge you to give more compliments. If you think something good about someone, tell it to him/her. Tell your best friend how beautiful she is and tell someone on the street how nice eyes or hair she/he has. _ In this world we need more compliments and positive feedback and less competition, jealousy and cruelty… The beauty of someone else doesn’t take the beauty away from you. _
