While Priyanka Chopra and Deepika Padukone grabbed all the limelight, we completely missed the presence of Isha Ambani. Yes, daughter of Mukesh Ambani and Nita Ambani — Isha also made her debut at Met Gala 2017. Isha was also present at The Metropolitan Museum of Art’s Costume Institute Gala and she was looking ravishing.
Isha was spotted wearing a grand Christian Dior olive green and beige gown which has pearls and leaves on it. Her loose, long tresses and minimal makeup make her look adorable. Her outfit was inspired by forest theme. Isha enjoyed the Gala with close friends Natalia Vodianova and Diane von Furstenberg.
Currently, Isha is pursuing her MBA from Graduate School of Business at Stanford University. The 24-year old businesswoman works closely with her mother — Nita Ambani over various foundations like health and education. Also, she sits on the board of Reliance retail as well as Jio. One of the fans of mom Nita Ambani took to Instagram and shared Isha’s beautiful pictures.
Bollywood queens Deepika and Priyanka were also the part of the grand event. While Priyanka chose to wear Ralph Lauren trench popped collar coat gown paired with black high heel boots, Jennifer fisher’s sculptural earrings, and top-knotted hairdo, Deepika donned gorgeous ivory-white satin backless gown accompanied with intricate silver.
This year, the theme for Met Gala, Rei Kawakubo/Comme des Garcons: Art of the In-Between, was in honour of Japanese designer, Kawakubo. This was for her contribution to the fashion industry.
