Watch: Dismissed BSF Jawan Tej Bahadur Yadav challenges PM Modi in new video

This time the former Jawan has threatened to take up arms if the government fails to address the injustice meted out to him

Tej Bahadur Yadav, the army jawan who was dismissed from Border Security Force in April after he posted a Facebook video complaining about the poor quality of food served to soldiers on the border, has posted another video on Youtube. This time the former Jawan has threatened to take up arms if the government fails to address the injustice meted out to him.

In the video, Yadav says that he exposed the corruption in the system. After watching his video, PM Modi to Home Minister promised that proper inquiry will be conducted in the matter. However, nothing happened. He further alleged that these leaders are traitors and warned that if the government does not order any probe by 25 August then he will take up arms.

He also appealed to all the jawans to stands against ‘such corrupt people’. He also said that if I take up arms it will be the government that has to be blamed. Yadav also alleged that he is being harassed and tortured from every corner. He also said that all those lawyers who had promised to fight his case never turned up.

He further warned that if he can take up arms for protecting the country then he can take it up again for an uprising. He also appealed to the countrymen to share the video so that the injustice meted out to him should be known by one and all.

A month after  his dismissal, the former BSF Jawan vowed to fight all forms of corruption in the country at a gathering in May at Delhi’s Jantar Mantar. He got the support of retired service personnel, family members of martyrs – like the mother of beheaded soldier Hemraj – and human rights activist Irom Sharmila, among others, for a new initiative: Pratinidhi Parivar campaign.
