Two Mumbai students die after lying in a pool of blood, none cared to stop and help

The two students from Rizvi College who were also best friends lay in a pool of blood but none stopped to help. Where is the world heading?

In yet another shocking case of apathy, two students studying in Rizvi College in Bandra area of Mumbai died after none of the passerby came forward to extend help to the students who lay their injured in the middle of the road.

According to several media reports, two of the victims identified as Saad Teerandaz and Bilal Ansari were best friends and were riding a Honda Activa when their scooter hit the divider. Some of the reports suggest that both of them were riding without wearing helmets when the unfortunate incident took place.

Meanwhile, even though a huge crowd gathered only to see the students lying in a pool of blood but nobody cared to rush him to the hospital. It was only after a police van stopped to see a crowd, that the students were rushed to a nearby hospital. While Saad was declared brought dead, Bilal was shifted to the ICU but succumbed to his injuries.

Both of them who aged 25 had sustained severe head injuries. The police told the media that a number of onlookers saw them lying injured but did not care to stop and help. Some of the media reports suggest that the accident took place after a motor cycle hit their scooter. The police have registered a case of rash and negligent driving and are making efforts to nab the unidentified person.

The police are also trying to go through the CCTV footages to understand how the accident took place. The police also expressed shock over the lack of interest shown by the people and onlookers who did not bother to report the incident.
