E Palanisamy to be sworn in as Tamil Nadu CM at 4:30 pm

After a week-long political drama in Tamil Nadu, AIADMK’s legislature party leader and close aide of VK  Sasikala, Edappadi Palanisamy is set to form government in the state. Was never involved in any terror activity in Pakistan: Hafiz Saeed seeks removal of travel ban on him

Jamaat-ud Dawa chief and the mastermind of 26/11 Mumbai attack, Hafiz Saeed has asked the Pakistan government to remove his name from Exit control list claiming he is not a security risk to the country. In a letter written to interior ministry’s department of ECL, Hafiz said, “A memorandum issued on Jan 30, 2017 placing 38 individuals should be withdrawn.” Read more
