This photo of CRPF jawan standing guard while another offers namaz is 'real India'

One of the photos which CRPF tweeted out yesterday evening with the caption "brothers-in-arms for peace"  is being praised on the social media

A picture is worth a thousand words and it’s indeed true, Srinagar unit of Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF) shared some of the photos on the social media which have garnered a lot of attention, mostly positive. One of the photos which CRPF tweeted out yesterday evening with the caption “brothers-in-arms for peace” is being praised on the social media.

In the photo two men in the uniform can be seen, where one of them is offering namaz while the other one stands guard. The image has gone viral on the social media and has got several responses. One of the social media user wrote, “Love this brotherhood of India”, the other one wrote, “This is beautiful sight. This is My India”.

For past some time there is unrest in the valley, after the death of militant commander Burhan Wani there were many violent protests against law enforcement officials. The unrest took an ugly turn after the brutal lynching of DSP Ayub Pandit ouside a mosque in Srinagar.

The report on Terrorism 2016 by US State Department’s Country highlights that how Kashmir is the most volatile state in India. According to the report, the state witnessed 93% increase in the number of attacks in 2016. Out of total, as many as 19 % of terror attacks happened in Jammu and Kashmir.
