As Eid celebrations have already begun, a mosque in Rajasthan’s Bhilwara has draped itself with the lights like that of a tricolour. The Habibi Mosque, which is located near the Bhilwara Railway Station is illuminating in the colours of a national flag. The mosque which has become the talk of the town is being visited by the locals as well as tourists, who are appreciating the way it has been decorated.

As per the reports, Imam Mohammad Zafar Mukhtar Asami of Station Mosque on putting the tricolour lights on the mosque said, “the tricolour is the pride of our country. Today, the question of the patriotism of Muslims arises, so this time we have decorated the mosque with lights likeTricolour colours.” He added that this is done by the community to express their love and respect for India.

The celebrations for the upcoming Eid al-Fitr have started across the country. Also called Ramadan-Id, it marks the end of the holy month of Ramazan and is celebrated by Muslims all over the world.

A few days back, setting an example of communal harmony, members of both Hindu and Muslim community took down loudspeakers from temples and mosques in a village in Moradabad. In the holy month of Ramzan elders of both the community took the decision. For last three years, the tension was increasing in the area over using of loudspeakers at temples and mosques in this village of UP.

Chakramani Tripathi, a Circle Officer (rural) said, “Police and district administration of Moradabad are full of praise for the initiative taken by the elders of both the communities who amicably resolved the issue in the holy month of Ramzan.
