In a shocking incident, two people are feared dead while shooting a stunt scene for Kannada film Masti Gudi. The incident occurred in Thippagondanahalli reservoir near Bangalore. The two actors have been identified as Uday and Anil, who starred alongside Duniya Vijay.

As part of the sequence, the trio jumped into the lake from a helicopter. However, Vijay managed to swim to the shore but the remaining two actors could not do so. A search operation immediately began to find out the two actors, but the chances of them surviving are said to be bleak.

According to NewsMinute, there were adequate safety arrangements at the location, and no rehearsal was conducted as well. Also, the victims were not trained swimmers.

Masti Gudi is inspired from real incidents as it is based on Duniya Vijay’s life. The actor has joined hands with noted Kannada actor Nagashekar.

In 1980, renowned Malayalam actor Jayan met a tragic end during the shooting of a film. While filming a stunt scene, the helicopter carrying him crashed while he was hanging on to it.
