In yet another incident of crime against women in Gurgaon, a 35-year-old woman was allegedly abducted and gangraped by three men in a moving car in Sohna, Haryana before she was thrown out of the vehicle by the accused in Greater Noida.

According to reports, the men kidnapped her in a Maruti Swift car at around 8 PM and ferried the car down the streets while the accused allegedly took turns to rape her for several hours. The woman who reportedly hails from Rajasthan had arrived in Gurgaon ten days ago. A passerby noticed the victim lying on the roadside following which the police officials were informed. The woman was rushed to a local hospital where the woman had to undergo a medical checkup.

No arrests have been made so far. The police officials who have recorded the victim’s statement are currently making efforts to nab the absconding suspects. The police are also trying to get hold of the CCTV footage of the neighbouring where the vehicle may have passed through. No FIR has reportedly been registered as yet. According to news agency ANI, Noida police has been sent to Sohna to investigate the matter further.

The horrendous incident comes days after a woman was gangraped and her baby was thrown out of an auto. The woman who was on her way to Khandsa village along with her nine-month-old baby when three drunk men allegedly gangraped her before trying to smother the child and throwing her out of the auto. After the brutal ordeal, the woman picked up her baby and travelled with the dead child to a hospital in South Delhi. All three accused were arrested in connection with the case.

One woman sub-inspector had also been suspended after the police admitted lapses on part of the security officials in acting promptly.
