Delhi boy offered Rs 71 lakh package by cab aggregator Uber

Siddharth was offered the position of software engineer at the San-Francisco office of Uber

US based cab aggregator Uber has offered a whopping package of USD 1,10,000 (nearly Rs. 71 lakh) to a student of Delhi Technological University (DTU).

Siddharth, an alumunus of Delhi Public School Vasant Kunj and a final year student of Compute science at DTU, was offered the position of software engineer at the San-Francisco office of the global giant.

“I am looking forward to groom my technological skills at Uber before I begin brainstorming on my start-up plan which I see as a long-term goal,” Siddharth told PTI.

The 22-year-old student’s father works as a consultant while his mother transcripts speeches as a freelancer.

“From the beginning, I wanted to do computer science engineering and with my score I was not getting the subject at any of the IITs. Moreover, I love Delhi and did not want to move from here,” Siddharth told Hindustan Times.

Besides, he also loves playing video games, takes keen interest in FIFA series, and plays Guitar.
