The wait is over. The students will be able to check their CBSE Class 12th results 2017 on the official website. Read on for more details

CBSE class 12th results 2017 will reportedly be announced on Sunday, May 28. The students will be able to check their exam results in the official website of the Central Board of Secondary Education. However, the exact time of the result has not been confirmed as yet.

“Results will be declared on Sunday. We will follow the moderation policy as enshrined in rule number 59 of examination bylaws of CBSE,” Hindustan Times quoted CBSE chairman RK Chaturvedi as saying.

The announcement comes a day after HRD minister Prakash Javadekar told the media that the results will be declared on time. “CBSE  results will be declared on time, the date will be told by CBSE. No need to worry about court’s order, justice will be done for all,” Prakash Javadekar had said.

After Delhi High Court directed the CBSE to not scrap its moderation policy this year, it was being speculated that the CBSE Class 12th results could be delayed further.

In its order, the top court had termed the board’s decision to do away with moderation policy as “unfair” and “irresponsible”. Under this policy, the students were being given grace marks for the difficult questions that were asked in the exams. At least 11 lakh students had appeared for the class 12th exams that were conducted between March 9 and April 29.
Students will have to log on to the cbse.nic.in or cbseresults.nic.in to check their results. After logging in to the official website you will be directed to a page where you will be asked to submit enrollment number and date of birth. Your results will be displayed on the screen after filling the required fields. Students are advised to download the results and take a printout of the results for future reference.
