CBSE Class 12 results: Score could be declared in 48 hours, board may notify today

The much-awaited results of class 12 CBSE board are expected to be declared in next 48 hours. HRD Minister, Prakash Javadekar on Thursday assured that there will be no delay in the results

Seems like wait for students who are expecting their class 12 CBSE board results is likely to end soon as board might declare the results in next 48 hours and the board is likely to announce the date of the results by Friday evening.

As per New 18.com, the much-awaited results of class 12 will come out in next 48 hours and the exact date of the results will be announced on May 26 evening.

The development has come after the board decided not to approach the Supreme Court against the decision of Delhi High Court in which it termed scrapping of marks moderation policy as ‘unfair’. In a meeting of HRD ministry and board officials with the legal counsel, it was decided that knocking the doors of the apex court might be counter-productive as the SC might refuse to intervene in the matter.

In its order, the Delhi High Court on Tuesday announced that the board decision of doing away with moderation marks policy is ‘unfair and irresponsible’. Under this policy, the students are given grace marks for the difficult questions that are asked in the exams. The high court also asked why the board cannot continue with the policy.

Last month, CBSE, as well as 32 other board, announced scrapping the moderation marks policy.  HRD Minister, Prakash Javadekar on Thursday said that there will be no delay in the results. He said, “We are not bringing in any major changes in the current system. I want to assure everyone that no injustice will be done.”
