CBSE 10th result 2017: Trivandrum leads the way with 99.86 pass percentage, Delhi's performance dips by 13%

The CBSE Class 10th results of other regions are expected to come out by 3 pm today. Meanwhile, Trivandrum region has secured the highest pass percentage, second is Chennai with a pass percentage of 99.62 followed by Allahabad region with 98.23 pass percentage

Long wait for the students of class 10th expecting their CBSE 2017 results ended on June 3 as the board announced its results at www.cbse.nic.in  .As many as 16 lakh students appeared for the exam this year. As the board declared its result region wise this year, the results of Delhi, Allahabad, Dehradun, Chennai and Trivandrum came out first. This year the results came out after some delay due to the discussion on the moderation marks policy. In 2016, CBSE class 10th results were announced on May 28.

The results of other regions are expected to come out by 3 pm today. Meanwhile, with 99.85 Trivandrum region has secured the highest pass percentage, second is Chennai with a pass percentage of 99.62 followed by Allahabad region with 98.23 pass percentage. The pass percentage in Delhi saw a huge fall this year with 78.09 which was 13 per cent less from last year’s 91.06 per cent. The pass percentage in CBSE’s class X board examinations 2017 has dipped over five per cent to 90.95 per cent as compared to last year’s 96.21 per cent.

While as a pass percentage of 94.34, Patna inched a little above with 95.95 %. While Guwahati performed poorly with 65.53 pass percentage. Madras is just behind Trivandrum with a pass percentage of 99.62 per cent. For Bhubaneshwar in Odisha, the pass percentage stands at 92.15 where more than 72,000 candidates appeared and 67,200 students passed.

To know the results, here are the steps to follow:

-Log in the official website  www.cbse.nic.in or cbse.examresults.net

-Click on the check results tab

-You will be directed to another page

-Fill in your enrollment number, date of birth other necessary information in the required field

-Click submit

-Your result will be displayed on your screen

-You can also download your results and take a printout for future reference

As so many students are checking their results, therefore, there is a possibility that server might busy. In that case, you also have the option of receiving your result on your phone.

Type “CBSE 10 [roll no]” and send it to these service providers
