Babri Masjid Case: Lalu alleges Modi's conspiracy against Advani, Katiyar says,'may be his claim has truth'

The BJP makes no difference between itself and others while playing dangerous politics, Lalu has said

BJP Rajya Sabha MP Vinay Katiyar has said there could be truth to Rashtriya Janata Dal Supremo Lalu Yadav’s allegations that Supreme Court’s revival of the conspiracy charge against BJP veteran LK Advani in the Babri Masjid demolition case was a ‘well-thought-out politics’ of Prime Minister Narendra Modi to remove former home minister from the Presidential race.

Speaking to News agency ANI, Katiyar said,” Maybe his statement has truth to it, don’t know”. Katiyar, is among the founder members of Bajrang Dal, is also among several political veterans facing conspiracy charges. Katiyar’s statement may raise eyebrows as BJP high command expressed its support after the apex court’s order.

The CBI is under the influence of Prime Minister Narendra Modi. It stood in the Supreme Court and sought permission to run trial against Advani and others in the Babri Masjid demolition case,” Lalu Yadav had alleged. “Since Advani’s name was in circulation as a probable for the post of President, Modi through well-thought-out politics struck out his (Advani’s) name,” he had said. “It is well known that the CBI does what the government desires,” the RJD chief claimed.

The BJP makes no difference between itself and others while playing dangerous politics against anyone considered opposed to Modi,” he claimed. Lalu was talking to reporters after Supreme court allowed CBI to restore conspiracy charges against LK Advani, Union minister Uma Bharti, Murli Manohar Joshi along with Katiyar.
