After demonetisation, terrorist attacks have increased: Uddhav Thackeray

He added, when their government (BJP) came in the centre, they have promised 'acche din', where are 'acche din' and why don't they talk about it now.

Attacking its ally BJP, Shiv Sena chief Uddhav Thackeray today said “After demonetisation it was claimed that terrorist attacks will be decreased, on the contrary, they have increased. He added, when their government (BJP) came in the centre, they have promised ‘acche din’, where are ‘acche din’ and why don’t they talk about it now.

‘Truth is truth and without any proof no one will say such a thing’, said Uddhav Thackeray when asked about the corruption charges levelled against Defence Minister, Manohar Parrikar.

Earlier in a day while expressing his displeasure on the budget Thackeray had said,” What is the need to present the Budget every year? Were all announcements of last year’s budget fulfilled?”.

Last month Shiv Sena announced going solo for the upcoming BMC polls, hence, snapping the ties with BJP. As per the sources the BJP was demanding 114 wards but Sena was offering 66 wards. Later, Sena offered upto 95 wards but BJP was not ready to accept anything less than 105 wards for the polls.

Thackeray while addressing a rally in Goregaon on January 26 said “We shall not go around with a begging bowl. We have wasted 25 years in this alliance. But no more. Shiv Sena will contest all the civic body elections independently and will not have an alliance with them (BJP) henceforth,”
