Perfectly tapping on the emotions of love floating around these days, the makers of Rangoon have released a new song from the film. Titled Alvida, the song is filmed on the principal actors Saif Ali Khan, Shahid Kapoor and Kangana Ranaut. The music is directed by Vishal Bhardwaj and song is crooned by Arijit Singh. The combination of these two extremely talented personalities has resulted in a song which is soothing and captures the essence of love.
One more aspect of the film which is revealed from the song is that Julia (Kangana Ranaut) and Nawab (Shahid Kapoor) are madly in love. The twist in the tale comes when Rustom (Saif Ali Khan) senses his beloved Julia doesn’t feel same for him the way he does. The video gives an insight into the minds of the characters who are all love struck but separated due to circumstances.

Rangoon is definitely one of the most anticipated movies of this year. While the movie brings to the silver screen the actors Kangana, Shahid and Saif for the first time, it’s content has also made it to the news. Rangoon is set in the World War 2 era and is being touted as a love triangle. Given the background of the film, there were various reports that it is a war film but the makers cleared the air and said it is essentially a love story.
The Vishal Bhardwaj directorial is slated for a release on 24 February.
