Watch: Anushka Sharma and Diljit Dosanjh will take you down the memory lane of first love in Sahiba from Phillauri

Sung by Romy and Pawni Pandey, Sahiba from Phillauri is soulful and shows the pain of two lovers when they are separated from each other

After giving us the Sufi song Dum Dum and the wedding anthem of this season Whats Up, the third song from Anushka Sharma’s Phillauri will make you fall in love with it. Titled Sahiba, the song features both the phases and will take you through various emotions of being in love.

Sung by Romy and Pawni Pandey, the song is soulful and shows the pain of two lovers when they are separated from each other. The music of Sahiba is given by Shashwat Sachdev and the lyrics are by Anvita Dutt. It won’t be wrong to say that Sahiba will surely touch your heart.

The song is beautifully picturised and captures the emotions perfectly. Produced by Anushka Sharma, Phillauri is directed by Anshai Lal and the film features Anushka Sharma in the role of a friendly ghost, named Shashi. This is for the first time that we will get to see Anushka romance Diljit Dosanjh and the audience has already gone crazy after watching their chemistry in Dum Dum and now in Sahiba.

Just before the release of the song, Anushka Sharma and Diljit Dosanjh took to their Twitter handles and started posting a few lines from the song and also interacted with each other through the lyrics of the song. All in all, Sahiba is one song that will not only make way to your playlist but also to your heart.

The film is an unfinished love story which brings two lifetimes together is scheduled to hit the theatres on 24 March.
