Has Upasana Singh aka bua left The Kapil Sharma Show?

Upasana Singh left Comedy Nights Live hosted by Krushna Abhishek in July. She reunited with Kapil Sharma for The Kapil Sharma Show which is aired on Sony.

If you are a fan of The Kapil Sharma Show, this news will make you sad for sure. Upasana Singh, who plays host Kapil Sharma’s bua (aunt) has apparently quit the show. The rumours grow stronger with the fact that she has not featured in episodes of late.

“I don’t think there’s any official quitting or if she wanted to quit but as co-actor I can say that she hasn’t shot with us from past two months. We haven’t seen her on the set,” Kiku Sharda, her co-star on the show, told Indian Express website.

Known for her witty one-liners, Singh has been associated with Kapil Sharma since the days when he hosted Comedy Nights With Kapil on Colors. Kapil started The Kapil Sharma Show on Sony following his dispute with the channel. But Upasana did not join him at that moment and joined another show Comedy Nights Live which was hosted by Krushna Abhishek. In July this year, she rejoined Kapil Sharma for his new show.

Upasana Singh is known for playing versatile roles in films and daily soaps. She gained immense popularity through her role of a deaf and mute girl in Anil Kapoor-starrer Judaai in 1997. She has also acted in Punjabi films. She is known for her dialogue delivery with a Punjabi accent.

Recently, it was reported that Singh’s marriage with actor Neeraj Bhardwaj is on rocks and the couple is headed for a divorce. They had got married in 2009 but have been staying separately for the past four years.
