Baahubali's SS Rajamouli to debut in Bollywood, wants Salman Khan or Ranbir Kapoor to play the lead

Baahubali 2 is slated to release on 28 April 2017 -- the date which shall answer the question that had troubled for long: Why did Kattappa Kill Baahubali?

Cheers! The shooting for one of the most awaited films of 2017—SS Rajamouli’s Baahubali: The Conclusion—has been wrapped up. Produced by Shobu Yarlagadda and Prasad Devineni, the film is a sequel to the 2015 blockbuster Baahubali: The Beginning starring Prabhas, Rana Daggubati, Tamannaah Bhatia and Anushka Shetty in lead roles.

Quite interestingly, the maverick director is keen to debut in Bollywood. If reports are to be believed, many top Bollywood producers have already approached the Magadheera director and offered a blank cheque to make his Hindi directorial debut.

Recently, Rajamouli revealed to popular film critic Rajeev Masand that if he ever makes a Bollywood film, his first choice will either be Salman Khan or Ranbir Kapoor. If the film is a complete commercial entertainer, he wants Dabangg Khan to play the male lead. He also added that he is a great admirer of Ranbir Kapoor’s acting.

If the speculations do reach a substantial conclusion, expect a tremendous outcome! Both the films of Rajamouli and Salman Khan, Baahubali and Bajrangi Bhaijaan, were all-time two highest grossing films of India. It wouldn’t be a surprise if these two commercial heavyweights rewrite the Box Office history.
