Salman Khan praises Sunil Grover, calls him a better actor than himself

Salma Khan praised Sunil Grover and said he felt incompetent as an actor after looking his work on the show Supernight With Tubelight

Salman Khan will soon be seen promoting his upcoming film Tubelight with Sunil Grover on the special show of Supernight with Tubelight. The actor who earlier promoted his films on the sets of The Kapil Sharms Show along with Kapil Sharma, this time chose Sunil Grover for the promotion. Salman, who recently shot for an episode with the cast of Supernight with Tubelight was all praises for Sunil Grover.

Talking about Sunil with film critic Anupama Chopra, Salman explained how good he was in his work. Referring to one of his act in whicSunilil Grover imitate Amitabh Bachchan, he said: “You have to see that. We (Sohail and I) thought we were sitting in front of Mr. Bachchan. He is not doing mimicry, he is playing it straight. He got all the real life of nuances of Mr. Bachchan right.”

The Sultan star further added that he felt incompetent as an actor after looking at his art of works.

Sunil has earlier shared the stage with Kapil Sharma in his shows including Comedy Nights with Kapil and The Kapil Sharma Show. However, following his fallout with the latter, he walked out from the show. It is being reported that while traveling from Melbourne, Kapil allegedly assaulted and abused Sunil in an inebriated state. Apart from Sunil, show’s other members including Ali Asgar and Chandan Prabhakar also left The Kapil Sharma Show. 

On the work front, Salman Khan is gearing up for the release of his next Tubelight. Directed by Kabir Khan, the film also features late actor Om Puri, Sohail Khan and Chinese actress-singer, Zhu Zhu.

Apart from Tubelight, Salman also has Tiger Zinda Hai in his kitty. The film is a sequel to Kabir Khan directorial blockbuster hit Ek Tha Tiger. The film will also mark the comeback of Salman and Katrina after a gap of almost five years.
