For quite long appearing on the chat show Koffee With Karan meant the guests have made it to the creme layer of Bollywood. Sitting on the couch, was a testimony of the closeness to host Karan Johar. So, when comedian and actor Kapil Sharma was invited on the show, it meant he had breached the boundaries. But looks like Kapil’s appearance on the show will not be shown.
A source told a leading daily the channel Star World has decided against airing the episode that featured Kapil Sharma. He said, “I don’t think there is any war between Karan and Kapil. But yes, we have decided to chuck the Kapil episode. Maybe it didn’t turn out to be exciting.”
Reports that Kapil and Karan are not in good terms has kept grapevine abuzz for quite some time.There have been numerous reports that the bond between them has gone south.
If reports are to be believed, at a recent award show Kapil’s conduct with Karan didn’t go down well with the latter. While Kapil was hosting the show, he told Karan, “You are my assistant and you may leave now”, in a disrespectful manner. Apparently, KJo took offence and held it against Kapil.

Tabloids believe this is the reason, Kapil Sharma’s episode has been scrapped from this season of Koffee With Karan.
A few months ago, Kapil has posted a picture of the hamper and thanked KJo for having him on the show. Well, chances are Kapil not coming on the show would be another false rumour. Guess we will have to wait for a few weeks to find out. The finale of the celebrity chat show will air on 19 March.
